"Whereas Leonard Farmer a maymed souldier had formerly a pention of 40s yearly granted him, & upon his peticion to this court shewing that he is fallen into very great want & in a sad condicion by reason of his hurts & wounds which hee received in his body, It is therefore ordered that the Treasurer … doe from henceforth pay … the summe of forty shillings yearly more as an addition to his former pention which makes fower pounds yearely."
