"Whereas it appeareth … that Leonard Bound of Ashburton was a private souldier in ye Garrison of Plymouth in ye tyme of ye late warr where in fight he received a shott in his head with a muskett bullett by meanes thereof he is growne very weake & not able to follow his calling to gett his maintenance, And for that there are noe Commisionate officers hands to testify ye same, It is therefore ordered that ye Treasurer … doe forthwith pay … 40 s.: & he from henceforth to trouble the court noe more."
