The court being this day informed by the humble petition of Katherine Waring of [?Bonnell] in the said county, widow, late wife of William Waring, that her said husband was slain in the Parliament’s service in Scotland, which is also attested by a note subscribed by Captain Robert Hope, his captain, dated the 10th of November last. It is therefore order by the court that the said Katherine shall have in hand paid by the treasurers for the maimed soldiers 5 s., and be admitted to a stipend of 40 s. a year till it shall be otherwise ordered by this court.
