‘Upon a peticon preferred to this Court by Judith Langdon the relict of Cr[ist]ofer Langdon shewing that her husband for many yeares last past had a pencon allowed him of Thirteene pounds a yeare & paid quarterly who died in the end May last being a little before his quarter day & before his death lay sick about six moneths weekes by reason whereof she was forced to borrow monies to relieve him in his sicknesse w[hi]ch she is not able to pay And therefore praied this Court to allow her the mon[e]y due for the quarter ending at midsomer last being three pounds & five shillings, whereupon the Court taking the premises into Consideracon did allow her the said Three pounds five shillings to be paid her by the Treasurers of the maimed Soldiors.’
