Whereas Jenkin Griffith of St George had been admitted to receive the pension of John Puleston of Gresford in reversion upon Puleston's death, the court was informed that Griffith ‘is not a person well qualifyed and fitt to receave the same as by the Act of Parliament directed’. It was thus ordered that John Yale of Chirke, gent. ought to receive the pension if Griffith be adjudged not fit and well qualified.
