Unfoliated: 'Yt is ordered by this Cort that Thomas Browne late Constable of Standish shall forthwith upon notice hereof aswell [illegible] pay or cause to be payed unto John Wirthington of the same towne, Carrier the some of xxs for satisfying of his charges dispended in the keeping of quarter mr Skelton and other wounded soldiers under liuetennt genall Cromwells command beeing formly allowed & pvyded to the said Browne as the some of xxxiis vid wch the said Wirthington did pay for redempcon of his [illegible] by the soldiers for the said Thomas Brownes neglect in not paying in of the monthly assessment Imposed upon the same towne or otherwise upon complt made to any Justice of peace wthin this County a warrant shalbee awarded agt him to take him bound to answer his contempt at the next ensueing Sessions of peace to bee holden att Wigan & further to bee pceeded agt according to his contempt both the Comrs order & of this present order'
