No details of service, but the context of the Quarter Sessions order (and payment by the Treasurer for Maimed Soldiers) indicates an old soldier. [A Captain John Todd of Lincolnshire appears in column 95 of the 1663 List, as captain of dragoons under the command of Colonel John Millward.]
