f.7: 'Whereas John Tim was impressed for King and Parliament for Chipnam, and hath been very much visited with the smallpox, and much impoverished, having been necessitated to have a keeper a month. There is due to her 20 s. for her pains, and care (as I conceive). I beseech you to consider her poverty laying heavy upon her. April 30th. Thomas Finch, lieutenant to Lieutenant-Colonel Warner.
Let Mr Leman pay 14 s. 6 d. to this [indistinct] upon account May 1: 1644.'
