Upon the humble petition of John Sutton alias Gibbins of Newbottle, showing that he served his late Majesty in the late wars, in the garrison of Banbury Castle, in the Regiment of the Earl of Northampton, in the company of Sir William Compton’s Regiment of Foot [sic], and in the said service received several wounds, whereby he was disabled to work; and that he had formerly a pension of fifty shillings per annum granted him, which he desired the continuance of. It was ordered that he have a yearly pension of thirty shillings allowed him.
