'Upon the petition of John Stannage of Hereford ‘being a souldier and nowe growne old and Impotent and for want of a Certificate to make good the Substance of his Peticon, The said Peticoner cannot expect any thinge [crossed out] any benifitt of the said peticon yett this Court by reason of his greate want doth order the Treasurers of this County to pay’ 10s in full of any further expectation'.
