[f.24r] ‘On the petition of John Spry of Alphington Glasier who manifested his loyalty in the actuall Service of his late Majestie a Soldier and vpon the recomendacion of Tenne Justices of the peace of this County This Courte doth thinke fitt that ye said John Spray bee henceforth inployed in glasing the windowes in the Workehowse of this County hee doeing the same faithfully & att ye vsuall rates.’
