Pratt had formerly had a yearly pension of 50 s. but due to his absence from Warwickshire and incorrect information that he had died at the time when the pensions were reviewed, it had been discontinued. It was noted that Pratt was 'unable to subsist, haveinge broken that Legge w[hi]ch was form[er]ly wounded'. and so he was awarded a gratuity.
