The payment was for Perryman to 'discharge his quarters'. He was being attended to at Widow Wilson's house in Warser Gate, Nottingham. Perryman petitioned that he was wounded and lying under the surgeon's hands, and owed 4 s. for a week's quarters. Being partly recovered, he wished to 'go to his colours' [i.e. return to his regiment]. Warrant signed by Nicholas Charlton and John Mason. Receipt endorsed by signature of ‘John Pereman’.
