Notes

Edward Owen of ‘Faldingham’ [?Faldingworth, Lincolnshire] was ordered to pay to his father, John Owen, 1 s. 6 d. per week during his natural life, 'until he can show cause to the contrary'. Appears to be the pensioner John Owin of Grantham mentioned in the Quarter Sessions records at the Bourne Michaelmas Sessions of 1 October 1688, noted there as a ‘late soldier to his Majesty King Charles the First’.
