‘Vpon the humble petition of John Mayne of Winkley a Soldier maimed in the Service of his late Majestie King Charles the first This Courte doth order that the Treasurer for the maimed soldiers of this County doe henceforth pay vnto the said John Mayne a pention of twenty shillings per annum vntill further order and five shillings in hand.’
