‘Vpon the humble petition of John Maudit of Bradninch in this County a Soldier maimed in his late Majesties Service This Courte doth order that the Treasurer for the maimed Souldiers of this County doe henceforth pay vnto the said John Maudit a pencion of three pounds per annum by quarterly payments vntill further order.’
