This court is satisfied of his good and faithful service to his late Majesty Charles the First of ever blessed memory in the late wars, wherein he received several wounds in his body whereby he is much disabled to get his living. It is thereupon ordered by this court that the treasurer for maimed soldiers in this division on sight hereof pay the said John Martin the sum of three pounds yearly.
