"Upon reading the peticion of John Lange, Edward Bailey, David Thomas, Humfry Brimson, William Chapman, Oliver Wilmote and Stephen Webb, maymed souldiers in Plymouth, It is Ordered that to prevent their expences for the future they shall send to the Treasurer every Quarter a receipt for their particular stipends, And that together with a Certificate of the Mayor of Plymouth for the tyme being that the said persons are alive, shall be a sufficient warrant to the Treasurer for the payment of their pencions."
