"Whereas John Kittoe of Plymouth was wounded in ye service of the common wealth whose shoulder was broken downe by the blow of a muskett, soe that he is thereby become altogeather deafe & void of understanding … It is therefore ordered that the Treasurer … doe forthwith pay … forty shillings for his present reliefe & to bee farther considered when he brings a certificate under a Commissionate officers hand."
