fol. 52: John Kinge, now living at Witney in the county of Oxfordshire, was pressed for the Parliament’s service at Charlton in Kent and was wounded while serving in Ireland. He had a pension of 30 s. a year but had not collected it for the past year. As it was costly and inconvenient for Kinge to travel to Kent to collect his pension, it was ordered that he receive a gratuity of £6 in full of his arrears and in lieu of a pension for the future.
