‘Whereas John Jones of Chulmely had a pencion of 30 s. per annum formerly allowed him as a maymed souldier It is now ordered that the Treasurer for the maymed souldiers of this County doe from henceforth pay vnto the said John Jones the summe of 40 s. per annum by quarterly payments till further order and to pay vpp ye arreares of his said former pencion.’
