fols 90-90v: Whereas Sir Edward Monins, one of the JPs of the county, did formerly commit John Horne of Buckland to the House of Correction in Canterbury where Horne has remained since at the charge of the Master of the House of Correction (John Gilbert) for twenty weeks, it was ordered that the inhabitants of Buckland should pay Gilbert 5 s. per week for each of the twenty weeks, amounting to £5 4 s.
