[f.112] ‘Whereas John Hodge of Kingsbridge was formerly allowed a pencion of fifty shillings per annum as a maimed Souldier and vpon the Increase of the number of maimed Souldiers was reduced to forty Shillings Now forasmuch as it appeareth vnto this Courte that hee is growne very infirme by reason of his wounds received in the Service of our late Soveraigne Lord Kinge Charles the first (whom hee faithfully served) It is ordered that the Treasurer for the maimed Souldiers of this County doe pay vnto him his said former pencion of fifty shillings per annum by quarterly payments till further order and the first payment thereof to be made att this Sessions.’
