f.54: Due to John Spratford for quartering of John Ewesden, a trooper under the command of Captain-Lieutenant Gladman in the troop of Lieutenant-General Cromwell, who came in sick the 20th of September 1644, and has continued till the 20th day of November following, at 8 d. per diem, and for a nurse to look to him a fortnight 6 shillings.
This bill is attested under the hand of Quartermaster John Linsey, as it appears by a bill upon the file.
There is due upon this bill forty-six shillings eight pence.
