According to the petition of John Edge the elder of Milton Green, he was a soldier under Captain John Massey and received wounds whereof he is lame, aged and impotent. It is ordered that he be referred to the JPs of Broxton to certify for the petitioner so that upon the next pensioner’s vacancy in that hundred he may be admitted.
