fol. 48: The court was informed that the maimed soldiers in the county were reduced to a small number and there was sufficient money in the Treasurer’s hands to pay them their full pensions, the pensioners also being in great want and necessity. It was therefore ordered that Richard Rice, gentleman, Treasurer for Maimed Soldiers in the hundreds of Elthorne, Spelthorne and Isleworth was to pay the following sums to the following persons quarterly until further order:
