[f.158] ‘Vpon the humble petition of John Churchward of Stoke Gabriel in this County a souldier maimed in his late Majesties service This Courte doth thinke fitt and order that the Treasurer for the maimed Souldiers of this County doe henceforth pay vnto the said John Churchward a pencion of forty shillings per annum by quarterly payments vntill further order and Tenne shillings in hand.’
