Addams's pension was restored having been previously suspended, and the court granted his arrears of pay (amount not specified):
'Whereas this court upon informacion given that John Addams being a pencioner had served a souldeir under the command of Captain Thomas Addams after the surrender of Portland Castle who was then in armes against the king, did by their order made att Blandford Sessions suspend the payment of the yeerely pencion given by this court to him the said Addams, & referred the further examinacion thereof to Giles Strangwayes & John Churchill, Esquires … And whereas they have accordingly examined divers persons who have byn produced to make good the informacion & what was alledged against him, the which examinacion they have presented unto this court, & thereupon having taken the same into consideracion & finding that what hath byn informed against the said Addams hath not byn sufficiently proved, It is now ordered that the Treasurer for the weasterne parte of this county doe pay unto the said John Addams the arrears of the pencion graunted unto him by this court, and likewise to continue the payment thereof for the future until this court shall see further cause to revoake the same.'
