Pension suspended. 'Whereas this court is informed upon the oath of John Roberts that John Addams of Dorchester … (to whome the court hath heretofore graunted a pencion of forty shillings per annum) did in the tyme of the late wars serve as a souldier under the command of one Captaine Thomas Addams after the surrender of Portland Castle, who was then in armes against the king, It is thereupon ordered by this court that the said pencion graunted unto him the said Addams bee hereby suspended by the Treasurer of the westerne parte of this county and that the further examinacion hereof be referred unto Giles Strangeways, Thomas Baynard and John Churchill Esquires, three of his majesties Justices of the Peace for this county, or to any two of them, and thereupon to make report thereof unto this court who shall further proceed herein according to justice.'
