Notes

A petition was submitted by Rusbridger, supported by a certificate of Captain Clerke and an oath made in court by Robert Hoskins, that her husband Richard Rusbridger was a soldier in Captain Clerke's company and died at Glasgow 'in the service of the State'. Payment of the pension was backdated to 25 March 1651 and 'specially commended to the treasurer [for maimed soldiers] by this court'.
