Notes

It appeared to the court that James Rychant, son of Sir Peter Rychant (deceased), formerly of the parish of St Christopher, served his late Majesty in his wars as Lieutenant-Colonel to Colonel John Maine. He never deserted the service but spent his whole estate and was disabled in body in the same, as by certificates appeared. It was therefore ordered that he have a pension of £10 a year.
