Notes

Leech petitioned for an increase of his pension; having received this and 'sundry informations against him of misdemeanors', the court ordered that the matter be referred to William Morley, esquire, the mayor of Arundel, and the Justices of the Peace or to one of them, who were to certify to the court of their opinions therein at the next Sessions. Leech's existing pension was to be suspended until further order.
