"Whereas it appeareth … yt Isacke Crocker was a corporall unto a Troop of horse under the comand of Captain John Beare in the Garrison of Plymouth in the service of ye common wealth who behaved himselfe stoutly in opposing the enemy, & that in the said service he was wounded by meanes whereof he is unable to gett his Living, It is therefore ordered that the Treasurer … shall from henceforth pay unto … Isaacke Crocker … fifty shillings yearly for his pencion … whereof he is to have twelve shillings and six pence for his present reliefe."
