Noted that Byard served in the royalist army for more than three years, and received 'divers shotts & hurts in many parts of his body whereby hee is disabled to followe his trade & mayntayne his wife & five small Children'. Ordered that 12 d. weekly be paid by the Birmingham Overseers of the Poor and that the court will consider him for a county pension at the next General Sessions.
