Notes

Upon the humble petition of Hugh Wright of Brixworth, showing that he having faithfully served his late Majesty in his wars as a soldier, and likewise his Majesty that now is in the Dutch Wars, and being now reduced to great necessity (having a wife and children to maintain), and in no way able to do it, he therefore requested a yearly pension might be granted to him. NB this order appears to be a rough draft of an identical order held in QSR 1/109 (Easter Quarter Sessions 1683).
