[f.220r] ‘Vpon the humble peticion of Hugh Pillar of Southtauton in this County husbandman a Souldier maimed in the service of his late Majestie King Charles the First This Court doth thinke fitt & order that the said Treasurer for the maimed souldiers of this county doe henceforth pay vnto the said Hugh Pillar a pencion of twenty shillings per annum vntill further order.’
