Notes
-
He is a very poor man who lost both his legs and was wholly disabled from getting his living. He was formerly awarded a pension of £3 per annum for his service to his late Majesty Charles the First. Being a body-maker by trade, he has obtained work from some masters in London, and it being not only very troublesome but also chargeable for him to travel to this county to receive his pension of £3 yearly, he has asked the court to allow him a certain sum of money in hand in return for giving up his pension. It is ordered that £6 be paid to Henry Wells, or to Mr John [name unclear] for his use, in full discharge of the said pension.
