Notes

Pritchard petitioned that he had been a chapman twelve months ago and as he was passing through the town of Bidford with commodities to sell, he was pressed for service in Ireland. He continued in that service for nine months, and during this time lost the use of his limbs. He obtained a pass to return to England and Bidford in particular 'to bee provided for', but the inhabitants of Bidford refused to do so. Ordered that Bidford should pay the gratuity, and Pritchard should then be sent to Swynford in Worcestershire (the last place of his legal settlement).
