‘Whereas Gregory Kendall of Brynton a maimed soldier is allowed at these sessions of the publique peace a yearely pension of forty shillings to be paid him by the Treasorers of the Maymed soldiors, This Court com[m]isseratinge the sadd condicon of this poore Kendall doe desire Colonell Jermy, John Keymes & Martyn Hastings Esq[uire]s or any two of them to order the said Inh[ab]itants of Brynton to take forth further care for the weekly releife of the said Kendall, notwithstandinge his pension granted unto him as abovesaid.’
