Upon consideration of the good and faithful service of Godfr[ey] Coolinge, a lieutenant of horse in his late majesty’s service of ever blessed memory ‘in these northerne p[ar]ts’ being recommended to the court by the king and council to settle a pension upon him ‘agreeable to his quallity’, it was ordered that he be admitted a pensioner and have £4 per annum. To commence these sessions and be taken out of the whole riding.
