[f.45] ‘Vpon the humble petition of Gilbert Lane of St Thomas the Apostle in this County showing that his Father Walter Lane [who] lately received a pencion of Forty Shillings per annum by quarterly payments is dead since the last Sessions & buried att the charge of his said Sonne This Court doth order the Treasurer of the maimed Soldiers of this County to pay vnto the said Gilbert Lane the Summe of Tenne Shillings which would have beene due vnto his said Father if he had lived vntill this present Christmas Sessions.’
