Weightman had an allowance of 6 d. weekly ordered at a former sessions to be paid by the churchwardens and overseers of the poor of the parish of Catterick. However, complaint being made that they refused to pay him it was ordered that the churchwardens and overseers forthwith take care that the arrears were paid and for the future pay him 8d weekly. The next justice of peace was to ensure the order was enforced.
