Fols 42-3: At a previous Quarter Sessions it had been referred to Thomas Rowe Esq., the Treasurer for Maimed Soldiers for the hundreds of Osulstone, Edmonton and Gore to consider the case of George Russell, who had petitioned the court for an augmentation in his pension. Upon Rowe’s recommendation, Russell’s pension of 40 s. per annum was to be augmented by a further 20 s. per annum.
