Upon the certificate of the Honourable the Earl of Westmorland, it was ordered that Mrs Elizabeth Tresham of Aldwincle, a poor widow, be allowed a pension of three pounds per annum for one quarter only, to be paid at the next Sessions by the Treasurer of the East Division, when she was to make it appear to the court that her husband was never a soldier in parliament’s service, this court being now informed that her husband was in parliament’s service.
