Unfoliated: 'Yt is Ordered by this Court that Tho Allerton of Lathome Grandfather unto Elizabeth a little Child of one Edward Gill his sonne in lawe a souldier in Ireland for the service of the pliamt and the mother of the said Child is dead and left noe meanes behind them for manteynance of the said Child shall forthwth upon notice hereof take manteyne and keepe the said Elizabeth wth meate drink lodging and apparel in some good and Competent manner soe as it shall not beg nor be chargabele to the pish of Orke or otherwise upon Compltt made to any Justice of the peace wthin this County a warrant shall bee awarded agt the sd Allerton to take him bound to answer his contempt att the next Sessions of peace to bee holden in Wigan. '
