[f.23r] ‘Whereas one Elias Thomas of Ottery St Mary a Soldier maimed in his late Majesties service did formerly receive a pencion of four pounds per annum from the Treasurers of the maimed Souldiers of this County which was since reduced to thirty Shillings This Court vpon hearing the further petition of the said Elias Thomas doth order that his pencion be advanced to three pounds per annum vntill further order.’
