‘Vpon the humble peticion of Elias Quick of Kilmington (who formerly received a pencion as a maymed souldier) and vpon the Certificate of Sir Courtenay Pole Baronet on his behalfe It is ordered that the said Elias Quick shall from henceforth be allowed & receive his former yearly pencion to be paid out by the Treasurer for the maymed souldiers of this County by quarterly payments till further order.’
