[p. 9] ‘It appeareing to this Court that Edward Phillips & Hugh Stagg both of Pilton in this Countie are poore & aged persons & such as have beene maymed in the service of his late Majestie deceased of blessed memory, This Court doth order that the said Phillips & Stagg bee admitted pencioners & receive such sommes of money as other pencioners att present doe receive in the places of two such present Pencioners as shall next dye or bee made incapeable of receiving their present Pencions.’
