Edward was a soldier in the late king’s army, wherein he did good service. Thomas Mason his brother was also a soldier in the said army, and had a pension of 40 s. per annum, but is lately dead. The Court ordered that from henceforth Edward Mason should have the pension formerly granted to his late brother, as an addition to his own pension (amount unspecified).
