‘Whereas Edward Knight of Brixham had formerly a pencion of thirty shillings per annum allowed him as a maymed souldier but was of late reduced to 20 s. per annum It is now thought fitt & ordered that the said Edward Knight bee restored to his former pencion of thirty shillings per annum to be paid vnto him by the Treasurer for the maymed souldiers of this County by quarterly payments till further order.’
